As startups scale, it’s inevitable that founders and early employees are promoted into leadership and other roles for which they may be unprepared. New managers can at times significantly accelerate a business or unfortunately stall one which is why leadership training is so important. Often the success of an organization transitioning from a smaller close-knit team to a larger organization is dependent on how HR Leaders approach and support these changes. This month’s HR Thought Leadership Session will focus on how HR Leaders should think about management training, how to identify and train great managers, and what strategies have worked best when approaching difficult managerial situations.

Come join us for a facilitated discussion by a panel of HR experts including Dana Rey (SVP of People at People.ai), Denise Lyle (VP of People at 5am Ventures and HR Consultant) and Stephani Martin (VP of People at Affinity). Breakfast snacks will be provided and conversation will be encouraged. This session is part of a monthly HR Thought Leadership Series.
